Dr. Andrea 


Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Andrea Milam received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Tech and then went on to graduate from Michigan State's University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in Chicago, Virginia and Michigan.  She currently resides in Clarkston, MI, where she took ownership of the Orion Oaks Animal Hospital in 2019. 


Dr. Milam loves being the voice for animals in need, and is fortunate enough to work with several rescue groups to promote the human-animal bond while providing the best quality care. Her professional interests include soft- tissue/orthopedic surgery, dermatology and preventative medicine.


Dr. Milam is married, has one human daughter, Adalynn and three fur children: Bassett/Boxer mixes named Sherman, Olive, and Amos. 


Licensed Veterinary Technician

Brandy received her degree in veterinary technology at MCC in 2014. She has since been working in day practice most of the time but also worked for emergency services and in Internal Medicine. 

Brandy is currently Vice President for the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians. She enjoys learning and takes every opportunity to attend continuing education classes. Her professional interests include behavior, surgery, and internal medicine. 

Brandy is married, and as a passionate lover of all kinds of animals, she currently lives with three dogs, three cats, and a snake. 


Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jessica has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2017. She graduated from Macomb Community College.


She currently serves on the executive board for the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians (MAVT).

Her professional interests include surgery and physical rehabilitation. In the future, she hopes to obtain a specialty in either surgery or rehab.


When Jessica is not spending time with her husband and best friend Bubba, a brindle Neapolitan Mastiff-Bulldog mix, she enjoys reading, baking, running and playing soccer. She also has a Mini Lop Rabbit named Penelope. 


Chief Heart Officer

Toby moved in to Orion Oaks Animal Hospital in September 2019.


He loves laying in the sun and greeting clients. You can catch him in the front window of the clinic, watching the traffic go by!
